... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to 6 PM MST Friday...
The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 6 PM MST Friday.
Snowfall will begin to spread across the region tonight and continue through Friday. Snowfall is expected to become heavy at times by early Friday morning. Storm total snowfall accumulations of 6 to 12 inches can be expected... with the heaviest amounts falling along west and northwest facing slopes. In addition... west to northwest winds gusting to near 35 mph will produce areas of blowing and drifting snow.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
